Manage cloud storage

Task flow for cloud video and snapshot packages. Field tables stay on each method page. Package ids (strategyId) are in Cloud storage packages.

Recommended order

Check quota or inventory → activate on a channel → read active plan / toggle recording → unbind or adjust strategy when needed. Not every step runs on every integration.

Activate a package

Call openCloudRecord with an administrator token.

When a channel already has a plan, see activateNow and queue behavior on the method page. This guide does not describe cloud-to-save or moving local files into cloud storage.

Query quota and inventory

queryCloudRecordCallNum — remaining activations per strategyId.
unUsedCloudList — paged inactive packages (nextDeviceCloudId starts at -1, limit ≤ 15).

Query plans on a device

getDeviceCloud — currently active package. Sub-accounts need RecordReplay and cam:serial:channel as on the method page.
deviceCloudList — all packages on the channel (active and queued).

Toggle recording

setStorageStrategy and setAllStorageStrategy — use status / switches documented on each page. Pausing stops new cloud clips; expiry rules stay on the method pages.

Unbind

unBindDeviceCloud — parameters and return codes on the method page.
