Cloud live

Cloud live

Cloud live creates a live URL for a device you have already bound, so you can embed real-time preview in a web page, WeChat official account, or H5. It does not replace OpenSDK in mobile or desktop apps.

Two URL types

  • HLS: created from device serial number, channel, and stream type. You can define a live schedule and query or delete the URL by token.
  • RTMP: created, queried, and deleted by device and channel.

Create, query, and delete operations are in Device live.

Stream encoding

Cloud live output uses H.264 for video and AAC for audio. If a player cannot decode the stream, change the encoding on the device’s local management page.

How this compares to mobile and desktop apps is in Choose an integration mode. Cloud live does not provide recorded playback, two-way talk, or device configuration.
