Resource pool quota
Resource pool quota
What it is
A resource pool is a custom flow quota under your developer account. After you add sub-accounts or device channels to a pool, their combined playback traffic in that pool cannot exceed the pool limit.
Only flow pools (resourceType=flow) are supported today. Playback bandwidth is normalized to megabytes (MB).
Period
| Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
day | Resets each calendar day |
month | Resets each calendar month |
always | Total cap only until exhausted |
Playback scope
Open SDK, light apps, and live URLs (HLS, FLV, RTMP).
OAuth end-user flow quota
Separate from resource pools above: for end users who authorized your OAuth 2.0 project, you can set or read a calendar-month Media Flow cap in GB.
- saveOauthUserQuota and queryOauthUserQuota require the end user's OAuth access token (
Ot_prefix from oauthTokenV2), not administrator (At_) or sub-account (St_) tokens. - An empty
quotaGbremoves the monthly cap for that user. - See OAuth 2.0 authorization · Billing for how this relates to per-user billing and free Media Flow.
Binding rules
- Many sub-accounts or channels can share one pool; usage is aggregated.
- If the same sub-account and channel are in different pools, both pools are checked on playback; either limit blocks playback.
- Changes take effect within about 5 minutes.
