Troubleshoot bind and offline
Codes below come from bindDevice and Return codes. This page does not invent extra codes.
Device already bound
| Code | Meaning | Next step |
|---|---|---|
DV1003 | Already bound to the current account | Do not bind again. Query with Paged device detail. |
DV1029 | Device already bound | Same. |
DV1001 | Bound to another account | Unbind there, or use another device. |
See Return codes · DV.
Wrong security code
DV1005 — verification code error. Recheck the code rules on bindDevice: auth-set password, 6-digit label code, or empty. Optional encryptCode must follow that page’s AES rule.
Unsupported device or firmware
DV1002 — device does not exist: verify the serial number.
A new device or a just-upgraded device may need the client SDK bind flow, not HTTP alone. Build a mobile app. Probe: Pre-bind information.
DV1008 — bind count limit. Unbind extras with unBindDevice. Daily quota: Interface call limits.
Device offline
After a successful bind, Online status (device.status.get) reports connectivity. DV1011 means the device is not bound — bind first.
Offline is not a bind-code by itself. Confirm power, network, and that the serial appears in Paged device detail.
Token or permission failure
| Code | Where |
|---|---|
TK1002 | Expired administrator token. accessToken |
SN1005 | Reused nonce within 5 minutes. Development specification |
OP1003 | Invalid openid or policy on a sub-account call. Set up a sub-account |
