Developer notes

system.credential.auth (Device authentication)

system.credential.auth: Device authentication

system.credential.auth · device scope · discovery only · permission Config

What it does

List presence means Auth (loopback RTSP, etc.). ≠ network.wifi.info.auth; ≠ message warrantAuth.

Integration

Use device.capability.list for discovery only. OpenBook does not expose device.property.get/set or device.service.invoke on this leaf.

Developer notes

  • Verify/change password: Other capability APIs.
  • With Auth, binding does not verify RegCode (same as Open-Manage).

Credentials

system.credential.scCode (SC security code)
system.credential.regCode (Device registration code)
