What it does

Read the display name (text string). To rename, see Name change support and Rename device (device.name.set); whether system.info.name can be set depends on device.capability.list.

Minimum permission

The administrator does not need an extra permission on a device they bound. A shared device needs the basic configuration permission. A bound sub-user does not. A sub-account needs Config.
